A wonderful visit to Purple Bees Day Nursery to read Ruairí’s Rocket to heaven in a warm, nurturing and caring environment. I was so happy with the way the children listened so well and engaged with the story.
“Exciting Visit at Purple Bees Day Nursery! We were thrilled to welcome author Breege Hoyne to read her book. This beautifully written story explores themes of grief, loss, and hope, helping our little ones understand and process difficult emotions. The children were captivated by the author’s reading and enthusiastically participated in the discussion. We’re grateful for the opportunity to introduce our children to meaningful literature and inspiring authors. Thank you, Breege Hoyne, for sharing your heartfelt story with us!”
Excited to join the Sue Atkins Book Club!
In wonderful news Child Bereavement UK review RuairÍ's Rocket to heaven and add it to their library of books for practitioners use supporting grieving children.
Ruairí’s Rocket to heaven took a trip to a very special place a few weeks ago. I spent a little time with some young grieving hearts during bereaved siblings day at Shooting Star Children’s hospice. For the first time I listened to my little book be read aloud beautifully. It was an emotional and also lovely time. Helping our children navigate grief is one of the most challenging and important things we can do as parents.
