I took this photo walking in the park as the sun set on this cold January evening. There is just one star in the sky, can you see it?
We’ve been walking in the village, my dog and I, these winter months, to pass the time during my son’s piano lesson, it’s been too dark to walk in the park. But this evening there was just enough light to wander through the gate and amble along the trails for maybe ten minutes before we had to leave as the light faded to complete darkness. In another few weeks we’ll get the whole half hour of the piano lesson in the light.
It reminded me that there is always movement between light and dark, the light fades often, sometimes it gets very dark, but the light always returns.
